Bone Chiller Supreme

A creamy iced coffee layered with chocolate, caramel, and Bone Chilled coffee for an easy café-style treat you can make at home.
Some days call for a simple iced coffee. Other days call for chocolate, caramel, whipped cream, and absolutely no apology for any of it.
The Bone Chiller Supreme takes a strong cup of Bone Chilled and turns it into a cold, creamy coffeehouse-style drink with ingredients you can find in an ordinary kitchen.
No espresso machine. No complicated equipment. No standing in line while someone ahead of you orders a beverage with seventeen modifiers.
Just brew, chill, build, and enjoy.
What You'll Need
Ingredients
-
16 g Bone Chilled coffee, ground appropriately for your preferred brewing method
- About 3 level tablespoons ground coffee if you don't have a scale
- 240 ml / 8 oz water
- 120 ml / 4 oz milk of your choice
- 30 ml / 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 15 ml / 1 tablespoon caramel sauce, plus more for garnish if desired
- 1 cup ice
- Whipped cream, optional
- Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder, optional
Equipment
- Your preferred coffee brewer
- Coffee grinder, if using whole beans
- Tall glass
- Spoon
- Kitchen scale, recommended but optional
No espresso machine required. The Bone Chiller Supreme starts with ordinary brewed coffee. The trick is simply brewing it a little stronger so the coffee still tastes like coffee after the milk, ice, chocolate, and caramel arrive.
Coffee Ratio
Start with:
16 g coffee : 240 g/ml water
That's approximately a 1:15 coffee-to-water ratio.
This produces a somewhat stronger cup than a typical everyday brew. That's intentional. Milk, syrups, and melting ice all soften and dilute coffee, so starting with a stronger brew helps Bone Chilled remain part of the finished drink instead of disappearing behind the chocolate and caramel.
If you're measuring without a scale:
About 3 level tablespoons ground coffee : 8 oz water
Directions
1. Brew the Chill
Brew 240 ml / 8 oz of Bone Chilled at approximately a 1:15 coffee-to-water ratio using your preferred brewing method.
Allow the coffee to cool before building the drink. For the coldest result, refrigerate it until thoroughly chilled.
If you're planning ahead, brew the coffee earlier in the day and keep it covered in the refrigerator until you're ready to use it.
2. Build the Glass
Drizzle the inside of a tall glass with 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup and 1 tablespoon caramel sauce.
You don't need to coat every inch of the glass. A few streaks around the sides give you pockets of chocolate and caramel as you drink.
Fill the glass with approximately 1 cup of ice.
3. Add the Coffee and Cream
Combine the cooled Bone Chilled coffee with 120 ml / 4 oz milk and stir.
Pour the mixture slowly over the ice.
Give the drink another stir if you want the chocolate and caramel evenly distributed, or leave some of the syrup along the sides of the glass for a more layered drink.
4. Crown the Chiller
Add whipped cream if desired.
Finish with a light drizzle of caramel sauce and a dusting of cocoa powder or chocolate shavings.
5. Taste Before You Add More
Give the drink a proper taste before reaching for another bottle of syrup.
If you want it sweeter, add a little more chocolate or caramel. If it's richer than you prefer, add a splash more coffee or milk.
The Bone Chiller Supreme is supposed to be indulgent, but the coffee should still have a fighting chance.
Skeleton Brew Tip
Cool the coffee before pouring it over the ice.
Pouring piping-hot coffee directly over a full glass of ice melts the ice quickly. That extra water can turn a rich iced coffee into a surprisingly thin one.
For the best result, brew your coffee ahead of time and refrigerate it.
No time to wait? Brew the coffee slightly stronger than usual and let it sit for several minutes before pouring it over the ice. The stronger coffee compensates for some of the additional dilution.
Make It Your Own
The Bone Chiller Supreme is deliberately easy to customize.
- Mocha Chiller: Increase the chocolate syrup slightly and skip the caramel for a more straightforward iced mocha.
- Caramel Supreme: Reduce the chocolate syrup and add a little more caramel if caramel is the flavor you want front and center.
- Less Sweet: Cut both syrups in half. You'll still get chocolate and caramel flavor with more room for the coffee to come through.
- Dairy-Free Chiller: Use oat, almond, soy, or another milk you enjoy. Different milks will change both the sweetness and texture of the finished drink.
- Blended Bones: Blend the coffee, milk, syrups, and ice until smooth for a frozen version.
- Bare Bones: Skip the whipped cream and garnish. The coffee, milk, chocolate, and caramel do most of the work anyway.
Why It Works
The Bone Chiller Supreme is built around balance.
Coffee provides roast character and bitterness. Milk adds body and softens some of that bitterness. Chocolate brings sweetness and cocoa flavor, while caramel adds another layer of sweetness along with its deeper cooked-sugar character.
Ice makes the drink refreshing, but it also introduces dilution as it melts. That's why this recipe starts with a slightly stronger coffee ratio.
The result is richer than ordinary iced coffee but still recognizably coffee—a useful middle ground between your everyday cold cup and a full-blown dessert drink.
Recommended Brew
Bone Chilled
This drink was built around Bone Chilled.
Rather than treating the coffee as background caffeine, brewing Bone Chilled slightly stronger gives it enough presence to stand alongside the milk, chocolate, caramel, and ice.
That makes the Bone Chiller Supreme a good example of an important home-coffee lesson: when you're adding several other ingredients to a drink, adjust the strength of the coffee to suit what you're making.

From the Coffee Corner
A café-style iced coffee doesn't require a commercial espresso machine, a shelf full of specialized equipment, or somebody calling your name from the other end of a counter.
The Bone Chiller Supreme uses an ordinary coffee brewer, a glass, some ice, and ingredients available at almost any grocery store.
More importantly, once you understand the basic formula—strong coffee + milk + flavor + ice—you can start creating your own drinks instead of relying on a recipe every time.
That's what Your Coffee Corner is about: learning enough to make the coffee experience your own.
