Imbolc – Light–Medium Roast Blend
A coffee for renewal and first sparks.
Imbolc marks the quiet turning of the year—the moment when winter loosens its grip and inspiration begins to stir. This is a coffee for beginnings that don’t announce themselves loudly, but arrive with clarity, energy, and promise.
Bright acidity leads the cup, opening with orange and lemon brightness before soft florals bloom through the middle. An effervescent lift gives the coffee a lively, almost electric quality, balanced by gentle sweetness and a clean, composed finish. Light–medium roasted to preserve its clarity and nuance, Imbolc feels awake without being restless.
It’s coffee for early mornings, fresh pages, and ideas that are just starting to take shape. For clearing the air, lighting the first candle, and remembering that change often begins quietly—then all at once.

Farm Notes
Imbolc begins in the highlands of Othaya, in Kenya’s Nyeri County, where coffee grows at elevations between 1,700 and 1,890 meters above sea level. Cool temperatures and careful cultivation encourage slow development, resulting in exceptional brightness, balance, and aromatic complexity.
This Grade AB lot is fully washed and sun dried on raised beds at the Gatugi Factory, where fermentation lasts 27–35 hours depending on ambient conditions. After rinsing, the parchment is soaked for an additional 12 hours, then sorted by density and dried for approximately two weeks. The coffee is later milled and graded at the Othaya dry mill, a process that reflects Kenya’s longstanding commitment to precision and consistency.
Composed of SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, and Batian varietals, this coffee offers vibrant citrus, floral notes, and a refined sweetness—an expressive, carefully prepared cup that reflects both place and purpose.
A fitting beginning.
