About Our Trademark

About the Skeleton Brew Name

Skeleton Brew™ has been serving coffee under the Skeleton Brew name since April 2023. We’re a small, independent coffee company based in Newark, Delaware, and over the years we’ve built a whole little world around that name — good coffee, curious stories, helpful brewing advice, and, naturally, quite a few skeletons.

As Skeleton Brew has grown, we’ve taken steps to protect the name our customers know. We have applied to register the Skeleton Brew wordmark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and use the ™ symbol to identify Skeleton Brew as our trademark.

Why protect the name?

Because names matter.

We’ve built Skeleton Brew one bag, story, recipe, and cup at a time. Protecting the name helps customers know that when they find Skeleton Brew coffee, content, or products, they’ve found us.

That matters to a small independent business, and it matters to the community we’re trying to build around it.
