Egalité – Bourbon Barrel Aged Guatemalan

A coffee for comrades, not kings.

Egalité starts as a Guatemalan single origin, aged 30 days in reclaimed bourbon barrels before roasting—because equality, like rebellion, needs time to ferment.

The result? A bold, defiant cup with rich notes of dark chocolate, bright fruit, and smooth butterscotch. It’s the kind of coffee that fuels long nights, loud ideas, and the quiet conviction that the world can change.

This is coffee for collectives and cooperatives, for anyone who’d rather raise a mug than a crown.

No titles. No thrones. Just coffee—and the freedom to share it.

$2 from every bag of No Kings coffee supports public broadcasting—because a free people deserve a free press.

Size: 12oz

Farm Notes

Égalité is born in the highlands of Huehuetenango, Guatemala, where more than 400 small family farms grow coffee on just a few acres each—often alongside corn and beans that sustain their own tables.

The producers deliver their ripe cherry to Unitrade Coffee, a local exporter that runs a central wet mill to process the harvest with precision. Through their program CoffeeCare, Unitrade invests back into the community, building healthy places for children to learn, eat, and play while their parents work the fields.

The beans—Bourbon, Catuai, and Caturra varietals—grow between 1,800 and 2,000 meters, in soil rich with clay minerals. They’re fully washed and sun-dried, resulting in a cup with medium acidity and body, carrying the lively brightness of lemon and lime, grounded by nougat and brown sugar.

It’s a coffee shaped by balance—between work and home, strength and kindness, ambition and equality.
